Customer Spotlight: When Harry Met Eleanor
November is National Gratitude Month!
Carpet Time is taking time to reflect on all our blessings and show some gratitude. This year we are giving extra thanks to all our customers—past and present.
We are grateful to have serviced so many wonderful people in our community including those who worked with us during the pandemic the past two years.
We all had to jump through so many hoops to work together safely and we are so blessed to have customers who shopped with our small family business during these difficult times.
One of our many loyal clients is Harry Partridge.
Harry and his family are longtime neighbors, friends, and customers of Carpet Time for over 30 years. While undergoing a renovation, Harry needed a new runner for his staircase and hallway.
Eleanor and Harry had a lot of fun trying to find a rich carpet that would translate with the historic details of one of the oldest homes in Astoria.
The final selection was Nourison style Grand Parterre Kashan. The rich New Zealand wool carpet fits in the classic home.
We are deeply thankful to have such amazing customers and extend to you our best wishes for a healthy and happy Thanksgiving Day.
The pandemic has increased food insecurity by 44 percent in our city—that’s 1.6 million New Yorkers struggling every day to feed themselves and their families.
As a sign to show our gratitude and appreciation, Carpet Time has made a donation this month to the Food Bank for New York City.
Our donation will provide 10,000 meals to food insecure people and families. Food Bank for New York City is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Click below to learn more about their program to get food into our most vulnerable communities.
